Trip to MICRÓPOLIX



    Today, all the four graders have gone to a very interesting, exciting, active, didactic and quite fun trip to .... MICRÓPOLIX !!!




  What!!?    Did you say that you don't know what Micrópolix is, nor where it is?  

 Well in this case I can tell you that Micrópolix is an amazing city specially made for children. There, children can adopt and play several adult's roles and jobs for short periods of time during a morning, an evening or the day long. Children never get tired to play in a city made for children!


   Once you are in Micrópolix some nice monitors explain you how things work in that new city. After that you are given a passport, and some "eurix" (the money of Micrópolix), and then you can decide what do you want to do... Some children can be workers and get more eurix for the work they do, and other children are customers, so they can spend their money too…



 

 

   Wait a moment!!! I think that if you want to know more things about Micrópolix you can visit their web site: Micrópolix.

   Too much information...! I know.... I am sorry, it is better if you click on "ciudadanos": "Manual de la ciudad" if you want to see the most relevant information for children.

   Well the experience was quite real…!!! Wasn´t it??   Imagine that there were even children than wanted to take other children money in a bad way … (and believe me thieves are not jobs on the Micropolix jobs list, jeje).   Even our teachers were surprised for that…


  The most important goal is that we have learned a lot of practical things form life, and what it is more important … we have had an incredible sharing non-school fun activities with our best friends…

Welcome to our blog ....



  Welcome to our enjoyable space ! ! !  

   I create this new blog to provide a new enjoyable living-learning experience with my 3rd and 4th grade bilingual students.

   This blog is born with two main goals.  One goal is to provide a new teaching-learning tool to share enjoyable English Language and cultural activities (songs,  stories, videos, games, quizzes, …), as well as some links to have an extra and different practice at home from the one done at school. 

   The other goal is to share and support a forward class-group positive connection (with some issues about the most important events in our class-groups life).
